Apart from the above collaboration SPF has a technical tie up with leading consultants and institutes like IIT.

Quality / Testing Methods
We have a well equipped and developed Lab for checking all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products. Experienced chemists and production personnel make sure that quality is consistent every time and every batch. Testing facilities presently available with us as follows:
- Barcol Hardness
- Impact Resistance
- SP. Gravity
- Moisture Content
- Peak Exotherm tester.
- We have an Automatic Press of 150 Tons Capacity for checking the Mouldability and Mechanical Properties for every batch of DMC/SMC being manufactured.
- Muffle Furnace
- Tray Driers
- Volatile Content
Other mechanical properties like Flexural, Tensile, Compression, etc are getting tested from the approved laboratories and electrical Testing, we get it done from ERDA. But very shortly SPF will be having complete testing facilities in house.
Manufacuturing Facilities
We have a specifically designed Turbo Mixer for manufacturing of DMC in place of conventional Sigma Mixer which is commonly used for DMC manufacturing. This ensures total and uniform dispersion of resin, filler and glass, which leads to excellent and consistent quality of DMC. We have a specially designed stirrer for manufacture of liquid containers. Currently our manufacturing capacity of DMC is 300 Tons per month.
